I know this is alittle late but we are in the Daily Mail this Saturday, extremely excited, couldn't be better timing as we are launching our new website on Monday, fingers crossed.
I officially have a knight in shining armour, in the form of Steve, he is the newest addition to The Fine Beef Company and has made my day so much more of a joy!
We are well into the period of the year where the jobs get alot more physical (apart from calving season), there is constant mucking out to do and various labour intensive tasks.
The wind on Thursdays battered the barn pretty intensively but all well now.
All the herd seem to be getting on well together, they all have very different personalities and its abit like humans when you put a group together there are always teething problems. The longhorns seem to have an advantage with their long horns...Dexter's slightly less so with their height disadvantage!
We have gone national and now have an online payment system and can send our fabulous beef through couriers to anyone in the UK, its all very exciting - the brand new website will gradually be introduce over the next few days, please be patient if anything goes wrong, we will be on the case 24/7 over the weekend to fix any initial problems.
Again we will have Old English Longhorn and Dexter beef to try at the end of the month so get your order in asap.
Nice weather isn't it?!
Again busy time here at the fine beef company HQ, our English Longhorn herd is huge now and the feed back we are getting about the taste etc is extremely encouraging.
A Dexter met his maker this morning, so if you would like to taste yet another fabulous old English breed with a gamey beefy taste please order asap.
We have several paper articles coming out over the next couple of weeks so things are getting very exciting.
I'm setting up the mail order section of the website now it should be up and running next week -get your orders in asap
All our packaging is either already recycled or can be recycled.
If anyone is interested we will be doing a series of special cookery demonstration evenings at the farm, I will let you know nearer the time. The chef is extremely talented and experienced and happens to love the beef which helps!
Everyone is happy and healthy here at the farm, even my old tractor is working at the moment so all is well in the world!
Order now for Old English Longhorn and Dexter meat, you can read more on the website about each breed and the beef
