Check out our newest arrival, he is single, 15 years old, likes being outside and enjoys spending time.... mainly with his female friends although likes the occasional play fight with the boys, he has been growing his horns specially and rather likes to be called Muggles for short.
Wow.....what a fabulous example of nature at its best. Muggles is here to stay for this rest of his life, pottering around our buttercup pastures.
He is a real gentleman, very placid and quiet and quite likes a good old scratch on his back. This is how we bonded yesterday, you must always give a bull a hugely wide space, especially if he is a ton and a half and it would hurt if he squashed you....my heart was in my mouth but after the first few scratches I think we both relaxed. What a charming old gent....

Other news, the burgers are going extremely well...I'm developing new recipes and trying things out on my poor husband. Everyone here is well and in good spirits, Sid (our other bull) is off to the cattle market on Wednesday to go to a new home as he is getting a bit too big for us to handle here. It will be unbelievably sad when he leaves but at least I can meet his new owners first.
